Nordic Ecolabelling are developing criteria for building operations and you are welcome to comment on the proposal by June 5th.
The consultation proposal is sent to a wide range of consultative bodies and the input will be used actively in the further work with the requirements.
The criteria cover requirements for the use phase of buildings. This includes requirements on energy, water, waste, outdoor environment as well as chemicals and building products.
We are asking for views and comments on the proposal as a whole and specifically on the following points (both levels and structure of the mentioned requirements):
- Requirement «O8 Energy action plan».
- Requirement «O9 Energy metering» and «O23 Water metering».
- Requirement «O13 Risk analysis climate change» and «O14 Adaptation to a changing climate».
- Requirement «O17 Inventory of environmental hazardous substances» and «O18 Measurement of PCB levels in indoor air».
- Requirement «O26 Water saving technologies».
- Requirement «O27 Information to users/tenants and possibility to sort at source».
- Requirement «O28 Promotion of repair and reuse for tenants».
- Requirement «O33 Ecolabelled products».
In addition to this, we also welcome feedback concerning the EU taxonomy, including both general input and comments specific to individual requirements.
The proposed criteria have been prepared by Nordic Ecolabelling under the leadership of the Nordic product manager Elin Östberg.
